2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

Just because you get a different vehicle there is no garuntee it won't need the same or worse. One thing to consider is what you have already have in hand and what has already been done when making that decision Best of luck!

2000-2006 Suburban 1500-- modify for bigger size 2nd battery?

I have seen some guys put a 2nd battery in the back left corner (as you face the motor). You have to remove the fender brace but thats 2 bolts. Not sure if your battery will fit that space or not. Please post pics of your success Good luck! ratled EDIT: found a picture with this setup...

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

Not mine, just passing it on in case someone in CA or area is looking for one. It's almost like buying the Jeep JKU HR and getting the Ursa Minor for free (to me anyway). JKU w/ Ursa Minor

    ’02 Chevy 1500 2wd, whats this sound?

2002 Chevy 1500, 5.3, 2wd. Trying to figure out this sound. I have been chasing it for some time. Finally got to record it: Sounds like it’s coming the front left wheel. Both wheels are tight with no slop or play. It’s random, I can go days without hearing it then hear it for the whole...

Thinking of a locking diff for my 2wd, talk me into/out of it

That is is great for job security! Too many years of job security has me so broken I can't afford to get stuck anymore and the main reason I'm even looking at this. Your vote has been noted. Going down this week to talk to my local shop and hammer down the details

Thinking of a locking diff for my 2wd, talk me into/out of it

Thanks guys, the same thoughts I was having. 5.3 motor that is solid, 8.6" rear and yea I was thinking of the Easton. For about $1k for the kit and then all the supporting pieces and the "might as well since you are here" things. It is always nice to be able to bounce ideas off of those...

Thinking of a locking diff for my 2wd, talk me into/out of it

'02 Chevy 1500 Silverado 2wd. I'm thinking about adding a locking diff for it. I have my Jeep Jk for the true off road stuff but this would be for those times when the 2wd, really 1wd even with the limited slip, gets stuck I can just hit the EZ button and back out. I know it won't be the...
