They will fit. I bought Gen I seat bases for my Gen II but haven't gotten around to installing them. Do a Google search like - site: 4x4wire.com Montero seat base
Reason have not install is found out the Gen I seat bases does not fit the Gen II electric seats. My driver seat is electric - sot...

Tarp\sheet of plastic to lay on
Spill kit
Spare fluids - Oil, tranny, power steering, etc......
Ratchet strap or two
Jumper cables
Electric\Gorilla tape prefer over Duct
Super glue
Tire puncture kit
I used to carry a lot more...
I ran the Whipsaw trail weekend before last and was worried about fuel. I few guys on the trip carried extra fuel on rear of truck. I've never been a big fan of carrying gas on rear or on top of truck because of weight.
