    Anyone having issues with KO2's?

60k on my first set of K02's and have around 15k on set two with no problems what so ever.

I have an Apollointech and it works great but... I installed it prior to getting my J30.

It's very stable, these ladders are surprisingly heavy duty and you just need to be sure to square it up well. We're in our 60's and pretty damn shaky but we go up and down ok, I guess when we fall and break a hip it'll be back to the class A ;)

I lean it against the side, when it's down I just stand it up on the back seat and use the seat belt to keep it in place. Takes almost no room that way.

I carry an 8' collapsible ladder which works well for us, especially getting up to pee at night. Don't think that would work too well for the dog though.

We rarely use the inside hatch, it's awkward with two people climbing over each other. Only if it's raining or something and then we just climb up on the seat back.

Congrats on the new top, I love how it looks on your Jeep although I could be a little biased ?

The Trans America Trail in a 2019 Ford Ranger

I remember that road closed sign west of La Pine last fall and that was using a brand spanking new copy of Sam's map, we did a similar reroute and detoured down to Crater Lake NP. We had both maps but chose to take Kevin's route through Nevada to Oregon and encountered dozens of fence gates we...

12v Cigarette plug in back enough for fridge?

I would just try it before committing to the expense of additional wiring, especially since you're only looking for weekend use. I ran my Dometic 50 that way for a couple months and it worked fine before I built my kitchen and added a second battery. Just be careful that you don't get...

    Opinions on the Liberty

I sold my KJ with just short of 300,000 on the original engine / transmission and absolutely loved it, probably the single most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. We get a lot of snow in the winter and my wife worked 3rd shift so it was perfect for her getting back and forth to work and hauling...

    Garmin Overlander

I've been thinking of an inreach and also adding a backup camera. Dashboard real estate in a Jeep is super valuable so combining things in one unit is tempting especially since I already have a Nuvi and this would also replace that. So I'll be watching for some first hand reviews. I agree...

I'd also be concerned with where the balance point is on the J30, seems like it would be forward of a normal hard top and you'd need to be sure that rolling lift had a long enough base to not be tippy.

    Fridge size for Jeep JKU?

I have a Dometic 50. The 35 & 40 fit virtually the same from door to backseat so I got the taller one for my wife and I. It's more than enough room. I plugged it in last week and won't take it out again until next winter... if then. I usually drive someplace every day so it's never killed...

Genesis Dual Battery System: Install Photos

I use a Ctek D250SA DC-DC charger and can use any combination of batteries I want, plus its got an MPPT solar controller built in. I've been using it since last July with a Group 27 battery in back to run the fridge and a small inverter.

JK Tailgate Tables - The lowdown

I built my own from plans I saw in a previous post from theksmith. Other than the hinges $20 and some special nylon push in mounts $14 I just used what was lying around.

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

I keep bedding up there year round, two sleeping bags spread out flat. I don't have a problem with the panels, when I pull them into place a little wiggling seems to drop the cushion into it's place too. The rattle I get is with the top and the sound bar all winter long but when I put the...
