Bit less MABDR and more Byway as we leave Virginia

Ever make it to PA sections of the MABDR? I've seen you post several times related to the MABDR. I'm currently in the beginning stages of planning a camping trip along the PA sections of the MABDR for this July. I live in Western PA and most of the trail is east of central PA. I'm slightly...

    Upland Hunting - General

No dogs involved and not upland hunting, not to hijack the thread, but I got my first goose hunt yesterday! 16 degrees out, wicked winds and white out conditions earlier in the day, 5 hours out in a corn field. We only got one flock in but between three of us with 3 shots each we bagged 8...

    b16gsr 2021 Ram 3500 HO build thread

Very good looking truck! Now can we hear more about the B16 swapped GSR? When are you starting the build thread on that?

    F150 - 2.7L vs 3.5L vs 5.0L

I was just knocking RAM haha, she had a 2020 built to serve edition, I believe the trim was big horn? It had the 5.7, never sorted out if it was a 3.21 or 3.92 rear end. It wasn't bad I just liked the 2015+ Fords better, I never got as comfortable driving it as the Fords. Wasn't a fan of the 12"...

    F150 - 2.7L vs 3.5L vs 5.0L

2.7 seems to be the most popular engine choice around me as well. Lots of people want the 3.5 or 5.0 but don't need it, they probably don't need a truck if they are being honest. 2.7 is still plenty of motor to haul and tow though not knocking it. Its performance, at least on paper, is better...

    2021 Titan XD Build

Its all in advertising, New truck commercail - "With best in class towing, 1,000,000 lbs" In truth the truck doesn't have payload to support the tongue weight of a trailer that heavy, and the truck's rating for tongue weight without a weight distributing hitch is derated even further regardless...

5x10 Cargo Trailer - camper build

I've never installed one of these and I'm not 100% familiar with them, particularly the model you will be using, but here are some quick thoughts. I agree I've seen many people install these in the living quarters, you however mentioned routing the exhaust out the floor below the trailer. Could...

    2021 Titan XD Build

All said and done I think I might just be best off going to a 3/4 ton or even a 1 ton... I plan on staying with a gas motor, new 8 and 10 speed transmissions really broaden the use of these trucks from reasonable MPG for DD duty or family vacation, to being much more capable enjoyable to tow...

    2021 Titan XD Build

Thanks for the run down! I have a 2012 F150 XLT currently, payload is 1730 on it but it isn't nearly optioned out like I imagine your truck is. You pretty much spelled out exactly what I was looking for thank you very much! I have a little experience towing, no TTs though. Usually bass boats...

    2021 Titan XD Build

Excited to see an XD build on here. I have been looking more and more at these lately not sure if I'm sold on the XD though verse a ford HDPP or even Ford/Ram/GM without any payload packages. Payload and Towing on the XD doesn't impress. Is it truly beefier than the normal 1/2 ton Titan? Is it...

Time for a New Truck--MPG is a Priority

Please tell me more! I've been fascinated by Titans, they are not common at all near me, I feel many pickup owners are loyal to a brand and the owners club for the Titan is quite small. Think I've been in every other brand 1/2 ton if not driven each but have never sat in a Titan. MAKE ME A...

Out with the old, in with the new...F-150.

@CountryboyNC Thanks for the update, I live in a very hilly area, my 15 minute commute I gain 900+ feet in elevation. Not looking for a race car but better mpg given my situation, my understanding is trucks with the factory 3.73s did better around town, I'd expect it to hold double the truth...

Out with the old, in with the new...F-150.

Just read through your thread, did you regear you '13 when you went to 315s? I ask as I have a '12 with the 5.0 currently stock (same '18-'20 sport wheels as you though) and would like to level/lift and bump to a 285/75r18 or 295/70r18 tires. I have the 3.55 gears and already wish I had 3.73s...

    Upland Hunting - General

@gps4 is your lab a pointing lab? Thanks for the info, I am fortunate to live in a more rural area and can drive to several game lands within half an hour, PA manages an abundance of public land phenomenally, for hunting that is. I also work with several guys that have hunting dogs and train...

    Upland Hunting - General

Thanks for the warm welcome! I didn't grow up hunting but I have cousins and uncles that always have, mostly whitetail hunting here in PA. My fiancé and her family also hunt and I've been working into deer hunting the last couple years. Sitting in a stand and hoping something walks by that...

    Upland Hunting - General

Recently found this thread and spent a few days going through the whole thing, I’ve wanted to get into upland hunting and waterfowl for a few years now. Hoping to make the change soon even though I’m a little late in the season here in PA. Love reading about the dogs and the hunts, can’t wait...

    Roaming Lost: 2022 RAM 3500

Probably the profit margin on a full build vs parts. They might also be geared to building each part by hand so to speak instead of having jigs, fixtures, etc to run off parts. Same personnel putting lifts and other upgrades to the full build trucks could be the same guy that is their in house...

Who's lining up to buy a 2023 Sequoia and NOT a 2022 Tundra?

What is the difference between tearing out the third row to build a platform level to the second row and just folding the third row that is already level with the second row? Only reason I could see is to build storage into the platform that isn't there with the seats folded down. I...

I believe the locker comes with TRD off road package as well as the TRD PRO trim
