    Campfire container for restricted areas

I have been using a Volcano for everything. Wood fire when able charcoal when able and propane for when we have fire restrictions. They work great as a fire pit. https://volcanogrills.com/

Toilet Solution for LONG TERM Overlanding trips

Please don't flame me but for years I have used a good old fashioned 5 gal bucket Lug-able Loo and kitty litter. Easy to double bag and carry out to your local trash dumpster. We currently use the PETT system sprinkle 1 cup of biodegradable kitty litter over each bombing mission. If in the...

    3-way Fridge Replacement Options?

Coachgeo I am not being an ***** Coachgeo but this has been a campfire discussion for years and in the clip you provided this gentleman even states this as 50/50. There is no actual documentation of a propane fire starting while traveling down the road and for that matter the whole gas station...

    3-way Fridge Replacement Options?

I agree just trying to troubleshoot before money is spent. The Truckfridge is going to be much cheaper than a new 3 way and it will be really easy to install and IMHO the best choice.

    3-way Fridge Replacement Options?

On A/C and propane mine is ready in 12 or so hours I would recommend the computer fan mod and remember to keep the fridge side of the camper opposite the sun. I don't recommend running it on 12v as it will barley maintain and suck the life from your batteries. Go to the Pop-up Portal forum...

    3-way Fridge Replacement Options?

I have the same fridge in my Palomino and it works great. I do my best to level the truck but not always perfect. Mine is modified with a 12v 120mm computer fan and the thing will keep ice cream in the fridge on 100 degree days if I keep it in the shade or out of direct sunlight. Always run it...

    3-way Fridge Replacement Options?

I don't have one yet but a friend of mine did it with the smaller one in his pop-up Starcraft 10RT. Working great he is also using a 100w solar panel.

How is everyone powering their portable fridges?

You are right 4x4junkie. You really should not test the battery for at least 4-12 hours of resting with nothing attached. I should of said that this is a good reference chart if all you have is a cheap digital gauge similar to what you see in RV's or the $5 Harbor Freight. I am not trying to be...

How is everyone powering their portable fridges?

Not to burst anyone's bubble but in the RV world 12.8 is the steady state after the battery rests for 2-3 hours for AGM and wet cell is 12.6 for 100% charge. You should never check the battery state immediately after charging.
