At that price point I'd want the steering rack and the second timing belt replaced. You can get a really clean 03+ for that. The transmission is worth it.

Price is too high. Go to the classifieds on Mud and find one there.

They are either front and rear locked or open on both ends. No 80 series has only a single rear locker. Unless you're bombing through desert with potential to get stuck, I wouldn't worry with lockers.

Whats your timeline? I have 2006 Black DC 4x4 with incredible records and no rust (SoCal) that will be available about mid year.

Can't speak for the diesel crowd but for a 1FZ equipped 80 I'd check for: -Cooling system refresh: Pesky Heater hose, heater control valve, new upper and lower radiator hoses, make sure the rear heater has been deleted or hoses replaced. Check the radiator and make sure it isn't "browned"...

Brute Force makes a rear with swingouts that doesn't involve cutting the bed.
