I gave my daughter many breaks lol Actually, with my tailgate, I was planning on putting some foam on the voids too, because I do have many ridges and yes it does hurt my knees climbing in. It isn't padded like the bed portion of the bedrug so it is a bit uncomfortable when crawling on the...

morning, a little update from over the weekend. Bedrug is on and loving it. Insulation started, need to finish up both side hatches and 1 more barn door. Will require some fancy cuts to work around the locking latches. Ceiling needs insulation too. Reflectix will go over the foam boards once all...

I like what you did with the coroplast drawers. I'm thinking for my benches/storage, I was going to frame it out of 2x2 and sheath it with thin plywood to keep it strong where needed, and cut weight where I can. But I imagine sheathing with coroplast is much lighter? I would do coroplast walls...

I'll catch up on everyone's posts later but before I leave work, just wanted to post these real quick......... removed all C clamps, and bolted it all down. And ran out of day light and sun, but Bedrug is in the bed, not VHB'd yet, just sitting there for now. Until tomorrow; we're supposed to...

update: last night I got a chance to bolt down my camper and remove the c clamps, using grade 8 hardware. bolted half of it, 4 bolts per side. Today I'll finish up the other side of the camper and remove ALL c clamps and put them up for sale. Much cleaner look for sure, and I don't have to...

I wound up using black silicone. I used gorilla tape and put a layer of silicone over it. Very few holes have gorilla tape though.

My daughter already getting a head start on the project. lol. First thing I'll be doing is caulking the openings/seams/holes on the bed where dust enters. The larger holes will get Gorilla tape. The small seams will get caulked and then my Bed Rug. Waiting for it to warm up though. Been 50...

Thanks for the link I'll take a look. Good to know that I'll get more bed space with a full size truck. I was under the impression it would be a standard 60x80. I have a 6'4" power wagon bed so hoping to achieve a bigger bed as well.

Excellent tips. I'm picking up my camper this Thursday so I'll be looking for a mattress soon. Question, does that company cut the mattress to custom sizes and do they do vinyl wrapping? I wanted to go with a 4" as you recommend, but can't stack them at 8". So working with a 60x80 Queen size, I...

I actually got a lot of inspiration from your insulation job, and I'll be doing the same thing as you. 1" foam board, layer of reflectix, and I'll be adding a coroplast wall last to make things look finished. Thanks for sharing!
