As you've no doubt noticed, there apparently isn't alot of overlap between the two leg segments at full extension; maybe 2 inches. Not as much as I expected. Regardless, the aluminum tape should work. Unfortuately, I can't find my roll right now, and of course, I was already at the hardware...

I haven't tried it, but it seems to me that you could pull the inner leg out of the outer leg; the spring pin is inside the inner leg. Then just put a couple of wraps of aluminum tape around the inner leg, and reinsert. Mark where the outer leg overlaps the inner leg at full extension, and...

For me, the flexibility of the two heights, and the shorter storage requirement outweighs the slight wobbliness. That said, if I know I'm only gonna use a standing height section, I'll grab the fixed length legs... You probably already know about the adjustable feet on the bottom of the legs...

Is this what you're talking about? https://snowpeak.com/collections/stoves/products/gp-stove-windscreen-gp-008?variant=671126577 I have a few around; I have 4 or 5 of the stoves stashed in various places... I'll PM you.

Not sure what your desired setup is, but Propane Warehouse might be a good start. https://propanewarehouse.com/product-category/fittings/camping-fittings-fittings/ I just got a bunch of G-Works stuff in; outstanding quality. But it took me forever to get it...

Man, I just got home from an awesome dinner. Opened this thread up, and now I'm hungry again!! The SP Ovals are the bomb. We've pretty much switched over to that instead of our dutch oven, since it's only two adults and a thin kid...

For me, the Slim way exceeded my value tipping point. 475 bucks for a pared down frame left a bad taste in my mouth. I have a TON of SP stuff, and I've paid out some bucks as a SP fanboy, and I value their design prowess, but for the Slim, I saw nothing I couldn't replicate with some aluminum...

Well, I haven't used either much, with my work schedule lately. But looking back, if the Flat Burner had been available when I first started buying IGT stuff, I would have skipped over the Baja. The Baja is a great stove, but the liquid injection and the integral folding legs are just features I...

Man, that is seriously good food!! Amazing how utterly fantastic that food is with really just the basic elements; a fire, a rack, a skillet. You and Lennart set the bar really high.

Yeah, I have a ton of SP gear as well, but I'm getting better at paring it down to what we need each use. I have the dutch oven too, but find we often use the Cast Iron Duo for cooking, and use the Oval cast iron pot for true dutch oven stuff. We use the IGT height adjuster to drop the table...

I ended up building a shelf system to store everything, then grab what I need for a trip, rather than store everything I own in one bag... I have a few IGT4 frames, but find myself taking the IGT3 frame and it's extension table most of the time. Just a real nice size for most "missions"; plenty...

Somewhere on these 200 pages are some closeups of the windscreen. You are right; you couldn't slide a table in the slot on the side that the windscreen is using. This is part of why I think the new flat stove is superior to the Baja burner, in that the burner and flame is recessed a bit, maybe...

Well, I stand corrected. I didn't think about the IGT Lite table. When you use the bracket with the regular IGT, the knob is pretty far under the stove, and the torque of the hose kinda cocked everything out of whack. But the dimples are still a mystery! ;-)
