I made the fold out table for the side door today, the table part is a bamboo cutting board from Walmart. It had a handle on both ends so I just removed one, the other one act's as a lifting handle and will also hold a dish towel when in use. I mounted it high enough so that when the door is...
I have done body lifts on van's and have never had any problems. Areo mobility puts a two inch body lift on their handicap vans all the time, with no problems and with two inch the steering colum is fine.
It is a split decision as to who likes them and who doesnt. I have considered a three inch...
After it's first major excursion since I started building the inside I have come to the conclusion that normal cabinet bottoms are not up to the task of 300 miles of rough travel. The paper plates actually started waring the finish off the bottom of the drawers. I dont think normal everyday...
FYI...... for all the nay sayers........ While out at my dads place in the desert (on his property) we took a full propane bottle and shot it several times with a 223 round and guess what, no kaboom all it did was spew out the propane...... no spark no boom.... just my physical observation.
when I'm inside I won't put the slick locks on. if they try and get in while I'm inside they will be met with the barrel of a shotgun. The locks would be for when I'm away from the van... :)
I have been looking at the Slick locks .... I will be getting them in the near future (I just have to save some $$) they are not cheap...... but they are cheaper than replacing all my stuff ... :)
Yes I did lower the sway bar to compensate for the lift, I put two inch spacers in there , I just didnt have them installed when I took the picture.
I helped Ramsey install everything. Time frame ... I didnt keep track but it was only four shocks, two springs the spacers and I did install one...
There is going to be one of these at the Toys for Tots gig that Dave puts on every year. It will be at the Hungry Valley OHV in CA. area this year in Dec.
Well I upgraded the front and rear suspension. Ramsey at Agile Off-Road has an outstanding system for the Quigley's. He custom valves the shocks and uses a progressive coil spring on front. All I can say is this van rides so much better I can hardly believe it. Ramsey truly has this setup dialed...

I finally got my sofa bed mounted, I picked this up from another member here.
Mounted my fire extinguisher and power tank mounted within easy reach.

Last but not least this was the only place to put my new fridge..it's a beast I picked it up...
My van was/is a bit skimpy on inside amenities..... one that the wife really missed from the previous van was the grab handle on the passenger side. This turned out to be one of the most simple jobs. The A pillar's are shaped the same the only difference is there are no threaded inserts to bolt...
