I have a '97 80 & recently acquired a '04 100. I love both and made sure to wait a couple months now to post so that I wasn't posting during my honeymoon stage with the 100. I would recommend the 100 for what you would would be doing.
The 100 is much more refined, better braking...
I agree that MotionX WAS the best mapping software for the iPad... Until a few weeks ago when they stopped allowing the downloading of the good maps for offline use. I'm looking for a replacement but MotionX was fantastic and very capable, until now.
A revolver is the most dependable type of pistol. For pure stopping power either a .357 or .44 Mag.would be optimal. Again, to echo the advice above, shoot at least 500
to become very familiar with the weapon. Good luck on your journey.
Excellent write up. Thank you for sharing. I just bought the iPad today as my new nav device, I was fed up with trying to see the tiny display on my Garmin Oregon!
It's a special subspecies. Fearless, tireless and can actually navigate...and the best part, very well behaved!
I really wish I could have brought my son, these two would have had a great time.
OK...better late than never. What a fantastic trip and a great group of people! Dinner was great, the live entertainment was unbelievable and I would explore with anybody that was on the trip, anytime.

Point C is the end of the trail(western end of it)
Hmm, we are running it East to West. That means a lot of downhill off camber stuff. I've only gone W...

We are still in, I'm bringing the wifie and the little guy. I like the idea of either bass Pro or Mc D's. We will be caravaning with Tyson. Also, I don't think there is another Jason so you might need to scratch one off the list (Torquey=Jason).
Cheers,
Jason
I'm running 188-193 pretty consistently. Although we did a trip to Mammoth a few weeks ago and temp hit 223 going uphill in 100+ fully loaded with gas and wood bundles up on the roof rack. Notably, I have an ARB, winch and 7" lights and the winch controller that reduce the stock airflow by at...
Make sure you are checking So Cal, 87 octane gas is over $4 per gal and most of the rigs out here have never seen dirt or snow. I'm in OC and if I have the time wouldn't mind looking at one if it helps.
