I have an Aussie locker in the rear and it has been great. Unless you are in some really big off camber situations constantly or deep mud, a front locker is not "needed" in the 80s.
I installed the rear because once I was in a situation where the front right and rear left tires were in the air...

I've only heard good stuff about the Rolas. I just ordered that basket with the 18" extension for my 80. I previously removed the factory rack so I am trying to figure out the best method of mounting. Hopefully it arrives before next weekend.

I think I'm going to get a Gen 2 or gen 2.5. here pretty quick. I am only going to buy one with the rear diff lock.
I have owned a 93 SR and a '03 Limited but never really used them as my off-road ride. At the time I was into really fast desert stuff.
Anyway, my rig now is plenty capable but...

As far as large American trucks go, I've owned 2 Fords, 4 GMCs and my current Dodge. I'm not a "Brand Loyal" guy but I have been very happy with my Cummins Diesel with 150k on it.
There is a reason why big-rigs and large boats use inline motors. The inline motor is inherently a "stroker"...
