Build quality, QC, etc, I feel like the pandemic may have affected it somewhat in all vehicles. The Defender has that as well which just exacerbates potential first year problems.
I’m replacing the windshield on my LR3 when it gets painted this year and it’s about a $188 difference between heated and non heated. Non heated is $430 and heated is $618 both directly from JLR. Probably could get them cheaper from Pilkington.
Wasn’t criticizing. I had just looked at the Tibus off road website a few days prior to this thread and they do have bolt on portal axles for the Defender.
