good theory as to how it missed the mark.

Yep. I expect that this is exactly right. If you're willing to go further to get it...I bet you have thousands of options.

good theory as to how it missed the mark.

I have no idea what any of this means, as it's not remotely on-topic. Your comparison makes no sense as it absolutely matters that they are different vehicles.

Hoping for your sake, and everyone else that was an early adopter, that this is true.

And this is an excellent point. Buying used automatically allows you to go search for exactly what you want, and your description of a 30k truck (assuming you can source the service records) really allows you a lot of leeway to find things. I just went off-roading Saturday. Nothing major, but...

The way I understand it (and this is a US thing, but EU, as I live in the US) there are ways to write off certain values based on usage for vehicles and other things. However, delivery must be taken by 12/31. I didn't dive in to deep but I did ask my tax guy, and in essence he said you could...

Tell me again how it worked out for all the Kool Aid drinkers? These are all stupid failures so people can cosplay with a new Rover

Thank you. I would e happy for someone to correct me, but with the people I know/hang with, and what they drive, Merc/BMW appear to be built for leasers, because the upkeep afterward is ridiculous. I can't want to hear about engine failures in the bush that can't be fixed with simple tools...

Again...simply not ready for prime time. The whole thing is bespoke, but we already see the embarrassment of tits load imitations in the EU, and now little (big?) things like wheelwell intrusion and stupid software mistakes. To make a similar connection: I am awaiting the concerns that will pop...

The thread here won't let me quote for some reason. Please say more about these maintenance costs. The kool aid drinking here has been on par with Ecoboost forums regarding how robust the Bimmer motor is supposed to be despite all evidence to the contrary.

Am I reading that right, where it'll beep if you are over the limit? Like...any over, or 5 over, or....? This keeps getting better.

The Lump: Long Distance Comfort in LHD

Another inexplicable own goal. The hits keep coming. Huge problem for the defined target customer in North America. And for the people that want to compare a bespoke brand-new SUV to a decades-old collection of vans and their "shut up and get back to work, plebe" ergonomics, that's some serious...

The Toyota Land Cruiser Is Coming Back To America

Perfect description in every way. So, literally, it's a Jeep thing. You (nor I, nor anyone) wouldn't understand. I really do think it's great that different car cultures do different things to become a community. After all, despite the fact that all Jeep products are total ******tboxes when...

It's beyond ridiculous to suggest that that is an appropriate amount for a bumper, but keep drinking the kool aid

Yepper. But what will all the Gren stans make of this information? It's just another failure from this deal

Thread for those that have their money down.

And I sincerely doubt that the service situation will get any better. I don't really think that the financial horizon portends doom and gloom, but 8% interest rates are what they are. If this launched a year ago (all other things being equal) it's a different conversation.

I will have to take your word for that RE: audit. Having said that...I feel like there has to be some sort of tax shenanigans that could apply here.

This could very well be a stupid question, but if you paid in full this year, even if you didn't take delivery....would that count? I mean, you paid for the goods, even if you did not yet take delivery?
