Replaced Transfer case bushings
Well worth it. Eliminated a annoying driveline vibration that I was having.
Original part was discontinued, but these were close. With a bit of modification they fit perfectly.
Yes, I would agree. It was posted in FLA I believe, but last I heard the truck was NY based. I looked at the sellers other items and they seemed weird as well to me.
The guy listing definitely did not seem like the guy that it was built for.
Probably a scam.
I saw one like on LI also. It was a crew cab, but had the older front end style. Similar to your yellow one. It was parked near Carvel for a few months.
If not for the beach sand driving that can be done here I’d be plenty happy with 2wd.
That would open up the options quite a bit!! The soft sand here would be impossible in 2wd.
Deavers seems like a solid choice. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Kelderman airride front.
I’m pretty happy with the current suspension. I was thinking of doing Deavers springs up front, but don’t see an immediate need. It rides nicely enough as is. Not saying I will never make changes to the suspension, but I have other projects to work on for the time being.
The tires themselves...

All true, that said I really do like my Kodiak.
The 5.13’s really do work well with the 41’s most people run on them.
There is a couple who built a really cool freight liner 4x4, but I think it is geared somewhere in the 4’s….. unless you go crazy big on tires the 5.13 work. I actually...
Just incase anyone is looking. I’m sure it will sell for less than that yellow resale one posted here.

Most of my off pavement travel is on soft beach sand. It works well in that setting. I can’t speak to much beyond that at this point. Other than an occasional snow storm.
