Some guy on face book keeps posting these rims for sale. He is not sharing what they actually are or what military truck they come off of.
He says that they fit the Kodiak C4500.
I would never buy from him because he seems like a shady seller, but I am interested in what these wheels might...
The kings feel much better than what was on there. To be honest I have not put many miles on them yet. I’ve got the back of the truck apart so am avoiding driving much till I get things buttoned up.
I could not find Fox Shocks made to fit the Kodiak. I have to say the Kings seem better built...
Interesting.
I’ll have to try to sort that out.
I’d like to disable it since if camping and running the box electrical I don’t want it draining my start batteries by keeping the dash lit up.
This brown device is some kind I’d solenoid that has 120v on one side of it and is associated with the fluorescents. Other side goes to 12v system.
I like the idea of LED strips as replacements.
Alright, electrical question for all of you s as ambiance gurus.
I’m sorting out my electrical. I have the box power completely separated and in a separate battery bank. However, when the box circuit is energized it some how signals the dash to light up and also turns on some cab functions...
Thanks!! Honestly I am new to the c4500 platform. I know a lot more about the E350’s at this point.
I’m kind of learning as so go.
Most are 14 foot boxes I found a rare 12 footer.
I think pre 08 is best because the emission system became more complicated at that point.
I got the prototype...
Nice!!
I’m interested in your battery setup.
How many amp is the BMS?
Also, any concerns with low temp?
That is what is holding me up on choosing a battery option. It gets below freezing here and I don’t want to destroy batteries by charging or using below the acceptable temp range.
As of now I’m going to just do a simple winch system. It should be simple and cost effective. I had a whole bunch of different ideas that would have been fun to try, but I found a harbor freight ATV winch for 50 bucks.
I’m going to have the winch move with the bed frame because I think that...
Put a little bit of solar on top
Started on some over cab roof racks.
Got the elevator bed mocked up.
Seems to move up and down smoothly on the tracks. Need to route some lines and mount winch to actually try it, but all signs look like it will work.
