Hey Jim
What about these?
Claim to be a alu.
I know the aluminum military wheels you tried did not work due to offset. Are these something different?
Is there such a thing as a Hutchinson military rim that works on the Kodiak??
Yes, I do still have it.
I’ve had some interest, but have not really been pushing hard for a sale. My other truck is taking longer than I expected to get to the point where I can start really using it.
I’ve been using the mini-mod for the time being.
I definitely am getting close to the point...
Yes Charlie,
I was luck with my E350 Ambo. Just had to source SRW front hubs and everything worked out. This MDT not so much.
I’m intrigued by those MXT rims, but they seem nearly impossible to get. The MXT is probably the only SRW MDT I can think of.
My friend had wide 22.5’s on his CXT, but...
Thanks for all the info guys!!
Many things that I never even thought of.
Maybe ignorance truly is bliss.
Haha
Interesting. Not sure I’ll be hunting unicorns and my CIA contact list is limited to non existent.
I will probably stay the course and stay duals for the time being with an eye...
Yea. I figure just replacing the valve is a good move at this point. Once I figure out what I am going to do with the front suspension I can revisit the air system. Either a Kelderman or Deavers. I would go Deavers in a heartbeat if height was not a concern.
I’m trying to stay below a certain...
That’s awesome!!
You give to report how those 1stattacks work out. Someone said they were not doing the rims for the c4500/5500 any more. I guess that they are!!
I’m still in the planning stages of the elevator bed. Right now I am thinking of building the bed frame out of 80/20 extrusion and...
Hey Mog
Are there any pictures of yours where I can see how much they stick out?
Yes Jim, I remember hearing that the duals touched the air bags.
In the meantime.
I’m still putting the cab back together and thinking through an bed elevator/lift system. Also, waiting for a leveling valve to...
Tire questions.
I’m still a ways off from needing to figure out what to do tire wise.
On my other truck going to singles was a no brainer. It allowed me to drive confidently on sand and actually improved highway driving, the gearing was such that the 35” tires brought the rpms into a sweet...
Any experience in sand with the 245 19.5’s??
I’m thinking of trying 265 19.5’s which are the largest approved for my rims.
My only reservation is sand.
No surprises. It installed nicely.
Just round the corners a bit gradual curve makes it install nicer.
You can use a bit of CA glue at the joint to seal.
