Ratchet straps around the entire box. Put 2x4s at the seams to localize the pressure. Just a thought. -Chris

    Me and the Moonlander!

I swung by the LaCosta Preserve trails this morning before work and they are still way too wet. But that being said there was some guys up there ripping down the switchbacks. People wonder why we have chicken wire holding our trails together. Road ride for me. Chris

    Four Wheel Camper Flatbed Conversion

Did you consider using adhesive for attaching the panels? Just curious. Also are you going to be replacing the roof? Are you using E-panels up there? Any plans to coat the aluminum frame? Keep it up! -Chris

Aluminum frame condensation leading to other probs?

I'm continuing to formulate my next camper, and hopefully getting close to finalizing the design. One question that crept into my head recently is: On aluminum framed campers that have an exterior fiberglass or aluminum skin and then some kind of wood or luan interior wall, when they are used...

    Dodge 2500 Steps

I heard back from Aluminess. They said they don't currently make anything for my truck, perhaps the regular cab is the issue. But they said I would be looking in the $600-700 range depending on material for a custom built pair. No doubt they make a great product, right here in SoCal. Its a tad...

    Me and the Moonlander!

Keep it going! I used to(and still do) ride all these areas before the houses started growing there, but atleast they left us some of the original trails and even added a couple more. Its neat to see you out exploring these areas! Have you been down by the waterfalls in san macros creek? Just...

    Dodge 2500 Steps

My wife has been tolerating the height of my 2006 regular cab with 3" springs, but not thrilled with the height of the door jamb. I'm still running stock tires but will be switching to larger tires shortly, and I need to be pre-emptive in dealing with the added height. I don't love any of the...

    Me and the Moonlander!

We must be pretty close to neighbors! Im off Alga. Ive seen fatbike tracks down at Pontos, possibly yours. Hows your drivetrain doing? Ive been considering a pugsley for the beach, but i might modify it for a belt drive internal hub. But thats aways off. -Chris
