I'm looking for a 3-5 gallon stainless steel insulated water container w/ a spigot at the bottom. Like those famous gatorade/igloo containers, but stainless(interior atleast).
Anyone know of a manufacturer/distributor?
Thanks
-Chris
I've used Thunderbird in ElCajon for some work in the past. The problem is I can't remember if their the waterjet place or the lasercutter. If they arent the lasercutter, that facility is right around the block from them and they will know who your looking for.
Hope that helps..

I'm loving your build. I've re-read it a few times since rediscovering it the other day, and I've come up with a couple more questions for you.
I had long ago given up on a "floating" or pivot mounted flatbed, but yours looks pretty solid, functional and yet straight forward.
In regards to...
I'm aways behind you starting my own aluminum framed camper, but I've thoroughly enjoyed your development.
Please continue to post your build & developments here on expo.
Could you briefly expand on the wood treatment you did for your flatbed deck?
Thanks

So the previous Toyo AT 285/75R17 E rated had a weight rating of 3970 lbs, but the same size current AT2 has a rating of 3195 lbs.
Both E rated, but how/why did they change the tire that much to remove almost 700 lbs of capacity from the tire?
Am I missing something?

Any updates? Hows the interior fitting out going? Are the E-panels looking/functioning well? Do you think they could be a good roof material?
Thanks

Just an update on my '06 2500 ctd. 1 year and 20k miles since I put in the xrf balljoints. Both uppers are shot already. I wanted to do carlis last time but there were none on the face of the earth at that time. Now I just hope the xrf's didn't ream out the holes like I've read they occasionally...
I'm looking for a contractor style canopy for my 2006 dodge 2500. I would like one w/ the dual rear(barn?) doors opposed to a flip-up hatch/tailgate. The problem I'm running into is all of the shells Im finding(craigslist, etc) are too wide where the doors extend down to where the tailgate(was)...
Did you buy or build the flatbed? I'm planning to pull the bed off my '06 2500 this fall and build a flatbed. I've been evaluating pre-builts for materials/designs.
Keep rolling!
Thanks
Shimano is notorious for pulling that. I just checked one of our major part distributors and they only have (2) 170mm in stock. 175s have been discontinued.
Good luck.

Im sure the bag is leaking I sprayed the whole system with soap water and found the tear near the bottom of the bag.
I just realized an hour ago about their warranty, and I bought them locally from a shop I do a fair amount of business with. I plan on pulling it tonight and taking it in...
I would be ok with the trucks rear end sagging a inch or two when the camper is loaded, but I do like to "get after it" down some dirt roads when its empty.

I've had Firestone airbags on my 06 dodge 2500 ctd for abit over three years, and recently one has developed a decent leak so I need to replace them. I haul a camper in the bed 70% of the time that weighs around 2400lbs. The airbags at about 70-80lbs did great work of leveling it out.
The truck...
Looks great, but one concern I've had about the layouts(only from pics, never had a chance to step in one) is access to the bench seat nearest the sink looks abit tight. Is that an illusion or is there some accommodation made for climbing in there?
Thanks

I did all four of my balljoints last summer w/ xrf bjs. Nobody had carlis in stock and eta was a big question. Now 8k miles later my passenger upper joint is already showing play. Carlis this time!
Im surprised you had to resort to a sledge. Did you put a socket on the bolts after you loosened...
