Do you find your clip is sort of floppy on your pack? I bought one of these to use with my Canon 40D and a pancake lens and I could never get it dialed in.
I was using it on a day pack and it just seemed like the weight of the camera kinda tipped everything over and it wanted to flop around...
After around a year of indecision on the suspension setup, my parts are on order!
I ended up choosing to go with the Carli Commuter 2.0 system after reading up on all of the luck folks have had on their setups. I also decided to add a set of Mevotech UCAs to replace the stock ones since I was...
It installs along side the front skid plate, if you look at that plate it only covers the driver side and the passenger side is still open.

Not a 100% sure if it will ever be useful but for $100 it's...
I've had the mount for probably a year and a half now and haven't had any issues at all, forest roads and general dirt roads haven't been an issue at all. I first had a Samsung Note 3 in the phone holder, but am now running an LG G6 in there. I also have the head unit for my Icom 2730 attached...
I've got a few small updates for the truck, while I am trying to decide on the endless tire/lift options.
First up is I added a D-Box into one of my drawers in the Decked system. I had a blow molded tool case, a tool roll, and a bunch of tools just thrown around in the drawers and wanted to get...
No experience with what you have linked, but if you don't want to drill your dash maybe check out ProClip USA for their mounts. They custom make mounts for most vehicles that are pretty much friction fit between trim panels. I really like how they have worked in my truck.
For what it's worth I have the EcoDiesel and haven't had any issues in the past 3 years and 50K miles. I average 25 MPG all time and no emissions issues to be seen, if they occur I will likely deal with them for good.
You've got to do you though, if you don't want the diesel I think the other...
Awesome, looks like support was just added within the last couple of weeks!

I hadn't checked the feature request in a while since there hadn't been much progress. That will make programming so much easier! It doesn't look fully functional yet, but much...
Good deal, might end up going down that route for some more storage.
The 1500 is the same, I don't think the cabin air filters come on any Ram actually. The spot is there as you know, but just not cut out. I actually did that maybe a year ago and for like $25 was a pretty awesome mod.
I've had a 2730 in my truck for about a year and like it so far. Came in with the best price point and list of features for me.
Only downside is that it is not supported in CHIRP. So if you are using CHIRP for other radio configs, keep that in mind. You also can't Copy/Paste from CHIRP to the...
Looks great!
How do you like the upper glove box retrofit? My 1500 is a Tradesman and it just seems like a bunch of wasted space there without it, so I'm thinking about adding it in.
Loving the uptake on the 1/2 ton Diesel!
I'm more excited about this release than Ford's from the slim details so far; hopefully we'll get more information soon. Really like that it's an Inline 6 design. Hopefully there is no timing belt like on the 2.8L Duramax and the 3.0L Powerstroke. And...
I posted the other day with similar questions, albeit for a 1500. A lot of the feedback is coming from 3/4 ton owners.

There have been some really good links posted here as well as some good thoughts on the subject, I'd say it's worth...
Looks like I've got even more unanswered questions now haha. I really do like the Falkens from what I've seen, so I'll probably give them another look. I'll look more at some of the other options mentioned as well. The 285/75 17 size isn't super common so everything might not be available...
Appreciate the continued thoughts everyone!
Good to know! Yeah, I'll probably give them a call sometime next week.
I looked at BDS, but they've only got 4" and 6" lifts. That's higher / more complicated than I really want, not to mention it's really more than I want to spend.
I'm curious on...
Not too surprised Carli is taking the early lead. I was just sort of considering Icon a bit since they were there, but from some reading I had been doing the tuning from Carli seems to be pretty top notch.
There's some solid information there, I appreciate the link! I've been looking over all...
I'm eagerly awaiting my OE tires to finish out their life this spring and plan on upgrading both the tires and suspension then. I'm pretty sure I will be going with BFG KO2s for the tires, I'm also looking at the Falken Wildpeaks but there doesn't seem to be much of a price difference there...
