Have you made your own DIY propane hose for a camp stove?

Actually there are different types of "high pressure" propane regulators. Most pre-set regulators for small appliances will be in the 10-15 lb range, others will be adjustable up to 60 psi. There are too many variables to make a blanket statement on pressures

Will any of the Garmins have better GPS than phone?

In the past, using my phone as a GPS worked ok as long as I had signal or the phone plugged into a power supply. GPS on the phone worked fine after loss of signal but using GPS and searching for a signal the phone went thru the battery like Charlie Sheen thru a line of coke.

    Anyone tried “Truewerk”?

That would pretty much kill it for me for anything other than a casual pant. Around welders a lot, a whole lot.

    Toilet Paper transportation and dispensing

Should have clarified it a bit, it's a bit of geographical advice. If you are in an area prone to goat heads or grass burrs, dont drop and drag.

Driving a 30’ Box Truck Over Engineer Pass, in an attempt to prove SWB 4x4 drivetrains aren’t really needed....

I saw an older Cadillac Eldorado up at the look out back in the early 80's. Not sure how he got there, didnt really care. I have also seen Subarus up there 4 or 5 times.

High pressure or low pressure propane hose

It's considered high pressure because it is for unregulated pressure from a propane tank, which will vary with outside temps. So if it is unregulated, high pressure is your choice, if it's connecting an appliance to a regulator on the tank, then low pressure. The pressure will be pretty close...

    Waxy contaminant in propane line

It can be with any hose if the flow is high enough. You still can pick it up in your regulation equipment

    Waxy contaminant in propane line

Your skottle is pulling a lot less fuel than the Partner. You picking up liquid from the cylinder. A 10 lb jug isnt able to pull much gas off before sucking liquid in to it. The Partner is pulling a higher flow. It's the reason you see some torches (or heaters) state only suitable for 100 lb...

    Wet weather jacket advice please

May be time to look at a Barbour or Filson , never broke anything on mine though I have worn holes in the cuffs and lower parts of the sleeves. I usually send them out and have the holes mended. I think my oldest Barbour is from 95 and my newest Filson is around 05. For what it's worth, last few...

    2020 Tacoma 4 cylinder

The only unscheduled expense was a power steering pump, and I suspects thats because I had a belt squealing and over tightened it and the seal went. Been a hell of a rig,

    2020 Tacoma 4 cylinder

I'm not planning on any changes, at least not lifting. Tires might change but not size. I tow the camper maybe 500 miles a year on a good year, bad year the camper never leaves the yard. Most of my towing is to Home Depot and back, mountain runs to Arizona or Colorado, Utah is maybe a week a...

    2020 Tacoma 4 cylinder

So how much of a slug is the 4. Driving an 2004 Tacoma V6 right now, it aint a lightning bolt, but it's not as bad as my last 3 Jeeps with the 258. More worried about longevity than speed, I aint in any kinda hurry these days. Biggest trailer I tow is around 2,000 pounds, and thats 90% flat...

    The best adventure travel boots.

I picked up a pair of Reeboks for summer, surprised they are as inexpensive and as comfortable. They are kinda heavy, but not hot and as comfortable after 16 hours as they are when you first put them on. Had Danner TFX for a few years, they finally fell apart and everywhere I looked sold out, so...

    Honda NC750X DCT/ABS

My biggest issue is where I like to explore, I like the west and I am always short of vacation time. It's 10 hours at 80 mph from my front door to El Paso. To Moab it's a solid 1,000 miles one way. Traversing 2,000 miles to get to a starting point and then get home eats in to your time.
