On the Arkansas river in Salida next weekend. Slalom and Downriver. Stop by to race or watch some good canoeists. Water is still very high. Course will be interesting for sure.
In Gait's thread there's a picture and comment on the two Stratos suspension seats with what appears to be the middle part of the original double seat still in place. Can anyone tell me how that is accomplished? I'd like to do that in my truck eventually.
I've got a Texson(Northstar)T1000 on my Fuso FG. We were camped on the rim of the Purgatoire River last week with very high winds, probably 60-70mph gusts. The whole truck was being buffeted by the winds, it was like being in a boat on the high seas. It raised my curiosity about the...
May 18-22nd. Looking forward to seeing it again. Haven't been down there in about 10 years or so. I'll be rowing my Avon Pro. Running about 10k last time I checked.
Anyone have any experience with these?

I've owned a Thetford Electra-Magic recirculating toilet and liked it. These ones look very rugged.
Headgasket failed on my 94 80 Series a month after I bought it about a year ago. Had it replaced. (137k miles) It's failed again.(144k miles) I'm getting white steamy smoke at the tailpipe again. Yikes.

This Saturday 3/19 is the multi club paddle trip from Evans to Kersey on the South Platte river. Last year there were about 60 boats I think, mixture of canoes and kayaks. Meet at 9am at the park in Evans. 9 miles of paddling. More info at the Rocky Mountain Canoe club website under...
Bought two 24"x25' rolls of the foil faced thin foam insulation at HD for about $22 apiece. One piece stayed original length, it goes inside the pop-up portion against the canvas and behind the raising bars. I feed it down each side from the back. So it extends from the front of the raising...

Maybe people know this already, but just in case anyone doesn't, if you take your vin number to a Fuso dealer, they can call up on the computer any warranty repairs that were done on the truck. Dealer who rebuilt my transmission printed out a copy for me.
It got down to about 12 below zero F last night and since my FG was sitting outside my house instead of in the storage lot, I thought I'd see how well it started in cold temperatures. It was probably around 5 degrees F when I started it at mid-morning. It has summer fuel and I hadn't added any...
