    Iron Pig, The FJ55

I fish plated the frame at the motor mounts and where I added the power steering. As far as width, not too big a deal, need to be worried about the height of the motor and the contact between the oilpan and diff. I used FJ 60 axles for the disc brakes, which gives you a wider stance, since the...

    Iron Pig, The FJ55

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. Zimm, I agree, but if you leave them unattended with that hole in fender, means the rockers, gutters, body mounts are all shot and the doors are sagging at the hinges. You don't have very long to enjoy the patina before it's useless, especially in the...

Finishing interior: Rust prevention, sound deadener, bedliner?

LR Max, It's still not on the road, so can't review yet. With all the products, inside and out, it's made the vehicle very solid. No " tinny " sounds when knocking on a door or fender, etc. I even treated under the hood, very nice.

Finishing interior: Rust prevention, sound deadener, bedliner?

I sprayed Lizard Skin sound deadener and LS ceramic heat control, then sprayed Tinted Monstaliner over all of it. I don't think it's a good idea to spray bedliner over a padded foil type sound control product. I did both sides of the floor and the inside roof. All doors and fenders, firewall...

    Gov't Mule - M101A3 multipurpose trailer build

When you drill and sleeve the tongue, just weld an opposing wedge to the tongue, thereby making a flat surface. Fun project.
