    need help identifying M101 trailer

My A2 and A3 trailers have two hand brake handles, where as my old M101 from the 50's has only one hand brake handle, that's in the middle. Looks like this one only has one brake handle.

    Won an M1101!

I agree with Abnengr, if it wasn't posted in the sale listing and you didn't receive notice in the email, you should be good. If it's required, then you won't get it without one. I've had it go both ways on trailers. Seems they're selling so many now, maybe slowing them down. Congrats!

    Gov't Mule - M101A3 multipurpose trailer build

Nice table. How about a link to the adjustable leg. Did you make the table top and where do you store it, when not being used? Thanks, Ron

Prepping a defender 130 for around the world..

Turning out very nice! Question... I always wondered how a person climbs up into the tent, from the inside. Will there be a small ladder, etc.?

    On board shower

Thanks! I did use the m8 studs and I used nutserts in the core support. http://www.mcmaster.com/#95105a183/=w55or0 They sell the tool to install them, also. I used six on that tray. Good luck with yours!

    On board shower

Here's how I mounted mine, Pump and exchanger. Still need to plumb the lines. I made a manifold out of alum. that will have three ball valves. Each one going to a heater and the exchanger. I can isolate any one of them if need be.

    Bear-resistant coolers

May I ask where most of you guys sleep, while in bear country? Roof top tents, ground tents or vehicles. Also, would you unplug a fridge and put outside the vehicle or run an extension cord of some type. New to bear camping and don't want to learn by mistakes! Thanks, Ron

Prepping a defender 130 for around the world..

Hello, I've been following along with your build and have a question about the roof top tent. Did you get it through Freedom Campers? Are they in Aus. and if you don't mind, what's the ball park cost? I really like that tent. Best Regards, Ron

    Egan's M101A3 Build

Just thinking out loud here, but are the shoes adjusted back? You should be able to slide the drum over the shoes easy enough, then adjust to where you need them.

Show me your "Adult" rigs and how you keep them running.

Here's my oldest, 1951. Not much for over the road, more around the farm vehicle. Doesn't take much to keep it running.

    Project Gryphon M101A3

Try these guys. http://www.etrailer.com/ That's a great axle on the A3. Would be nice to keep it. I'm a big fan of the stock brakes and lunette, so I've no experience converting to e brakes.

    Iron Pig, The FJ55

Thanks Guys, She's going to get all the glass in tomorrow and hopefully wiring soon. Kurt, thanks for getting me straightened out with the steering stabilizer. It means a lot that a vendor takes the time and shares knowledge, the way you do. I'll be calling again!

What have you done to your Land Cruiser Today?

Security, Lock Box, Safe....Whatever you wanna call it- Let's see your pics

I'm using aftermarket seats and had some room under the seats, so I built two lockable drawers for stuff.

    Locking shifters together...anti theft precaution

I'm sorry, but everybody always brings up a flatbed. Does anybody know what percent of vehicles are stolen that way? You can't protect against a helicopter picking it up, either. Maybe this isn't the end all answer to theft, but it sure will help. You can only do so much, cut off switches...

    My new 79 Series Dualcab

Oh Man, that is cool. What a great way to go on an adventure! It would be nice to have some sort of pull out cook stove. Maybe raise the RTT a little, off the boxes, so you have room for a folding table. chairs, etc. So many options, have fun.

Chad, Just thinking here, but with the 5.3 chevy in the 55 and the h55 transmission, which is the 5 speed, I don't think it would be any different than towing with the 2004 Silverado, that the motor came out of. If your trailer has brakes and the 55 has good brakes, then I don't see a problem...
