Turned out great! Question on the feel. How does it feel when fully loaded and no brakes? I have several of these 101A3s with one missing a surge. I would like to do exactly what you've done, but concerned about the brakes.

Very nice! Wanted to ask you about your plan for accessing the roof storage bin. I've been thinking of putting storage behind the Bundutop, so I could climb up a ladder in back or the tailgate ( FJ55 ). I like your idea of protection with the storage bin in front.

Drodio, You're getting a air compressor anyway, so just go with the air locker. I look at having both air lockers, not how often I'll use them, but when I do need them, they're there. I'd hate to be in a situation with my family where true four wheel drive was needed and didn't have it. Food...

Look up Lizard Skin. It's a spray on sound deadener and a ceramic heat control. I used it inside and out on my Land Cruiser. If it works good on the road as it does banging on a fender, should be nice and quite. The ceramic insulation states it reduces temps. by 30 degrees.

Great choice. I've got one in my FJ55 and just fired it up a couple days ago. Working on the exhaust now. Sure sounds good with open headers!
