1gallon Manchester in front of the fridge held in place with two quick fist clamps. Hose runs inside the drawer. Works great!
Silicone splash shield for messy stuff. I am not concerned about this issue....its a good foot from my car and 3' from anything above.
Sergio. I will email you directly again in a new email. Perhaps the replies are getting filtered on your end. I can provide you with screenshots of the emails for verification.
The subject line of the emails is "Re:RV: Broken Awning Mounts for Keith...". Replies were sent from the original...
Yes, I agree it is a design oversight but if manufacturing control was there and the spacers were the proper length and the foot platform at the proper angle, it would not be a problem. Now with the aluminum spacers I added the foot platform is about 1/8" off of the painted surface of the car...
I disagree. The spacers under the feet, if properly manufactured with proper quality control, should prohibit the sheet metal from being touched/impacted.
From Baja's website "Load Capacity: Dynamic (while driving) 300Lb (136 kg); Static 600Lb (272 kg)". Load capacities of the rack do not...
The feet from the rack hide it. It's very difficult to tell this has occurred when the rack is on the car. It's one of those things that you'd have to know it was there to notice.
More discussion for anyone who cares over on T4R. More people discovering this issue now that it's been brought to light.

First off I do not want to turn this into a bashing thread or "baja sucks" thread. I merely wan't others on here to be educated when researching rack options for their own vehicles.
This rack has been installed for a year and the only thing mounted to it was a...
Nothing special really. Just some aluminum angle and the aforementioned 220lb Rockler slides. I used rivets to mount the slide to the aluminum. I built that portion last year and used it on my old setup, its been going strong without issue. Stole the idea from here somewhere...
Your link doesn't work.
The slide for the fridge is the 220lb version from Rockler Woodworking. The cutting board one is the lightest duty one they sell.
Not sure if you saw this thread or the one here... http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/199186-2015-tep-build-complete-now.html
Added a drawer slide and fridge slide to the setup. Its bolted to the floor using the factory front 10mm holes that were under the tie downs (now removed) and then I added 4 more with nutserts. The drawer slides on 8 UHMW strips and has a simple stop on it so you cannot pull it out too far. The...
Once you have things back together, give me a call. I will PM you my number. I can drive out and chat/look.
Not to thread jack but here's a couple threads on my 4runner in its current state.... Some day I'll do a proper build thread...
