    Kendrick Peak trail, Arizona 11.2.24

Agree on the comment about the changes in the trees. The last time I was there (prob 9-10 years ago), there were trees surrounding the lookout and the cabin was "in the trees". I had heard the cabin was now locked and it appears to be the case in your photos. Thanks for sharing! Todd Z.

    Ineos vehicles at SEMA 2024

Thanks for all the pics! I was at the show on Tuesday and Wednesday and saw some, but not all, of those on display in various locations. Hope you have a good experience with yours. They sure look like neat rigs. I did snag a few copies of OJ at the back of Scott's rig in the Overland...

Alaskan Campers: An Epic Overlanding Film

Wow - times have changed! I picked up one of the price sheets at Overland Expo 2? years ago and it said $37-38K at that time. Dad paid $600 for ours 40 years ago :). Todd Z.

PRICE DROP 1993 Ford F250 IDI Turbo Diesel 7.3 Service Body 4x4 + Resto-modded 1973 Alaskan Camper Pop Top. Portland, OR

What an absolute gem. I have many fond memories of sleeping in our family's Alaskan camper in the '80s in our '77 Ford SuperCab. There's something appealing about the IDI diesels as well - I'm a 7.3 Powerstroke owner but also love the earlier rigs. Todd Z.

    Blender, My LX450/FZJ80 + FJ45esk + GM + Land Rover crazy concoction

I got to my hotel late last Friday night and when I pulled in, I spotted a familiar rig (and tow rig) across the parking lot. Checked it out a bit more in the morning - I imagine I could spend quite a bit of time going over this thing. Todd Z.

    What was your first Jeep?

My first, and only, Jeep was a '51 CJ-3A that a friend and I bought from some folks here in Phoenix that probably needed some drug $$. I think we bought it in 1993 for about $800-$900. Got it running, did a little bit of work to it, and then it sat at our house in Tempe for awhile and then...

Is Offroading in a SuperDuty Really That Bad?

You're very fortunate if they'll do that for you. I'm in the Phoenix area so maybe they are more gun-shy here due to the heat. Or maybe it's our proximity to Discount's headquarters. Todd Z.

Is Offroading in a SuperDuty Really That Bad?

In my experience, Discount really changed course about 20 years ago after the Explorer/Firestone tire kerfuffle. I had an '01 Super Duty with larger tires mounted on the stock wheels by a previous owner. One of the tires went bad so I went to Discount for a replacement (probably in '04?)...

Apple Adds 2-way Satellite Messaging for iOS 18

I was very curious about the costs too - if it's less than my $14.95/mo cost for my InReach, I'll get it. My wife was more excited that I might finally update my iPhone if this works out financially :). Todd Z.
