Great job Herbie on the removal, looks like the same new pins I put in my GMC Savana AWD-- it's not easy job!!
Main thing when you get the hard work done is to keep them hinges lubed
I Did it to my door pins, what a ********** !!! what worked is a lot of oil , big hammer and a drive pin to ********** the pins, tape cardboard or rubber to door for protection.
GREAT FIND!! , vanning never gets old
I have 196,000 miles on the same year GMC AWD full conversion, 150,000 miles are all mine! They just keep running
Has anyone ducked a remote air conditioner into a Van's rear air conditioners factory rear air tubes with quick disconnect??
I would mount air conditioner on trailer behind van, use shore power or gen for power.
I cut the roof off a Old's Vista Cruiser Station Wagon and cut van roof and molded it on in 1986 Chev Van only a year old!!
you could add more material and have a steel roof with real glass !!!
Wish you luck in your new adventure in the custom van business, You may want to tone down the interior a bit, your van interior only fits a few people's tastes not the masses.
I had a local Fleet Farm store in Wisconsin say they would not sell me tires for aftermarket rims due to being not stock rims with the Van.
I left the store !!!
Found someone else to do the work, no problems.
