We have bigger roads and more ground to cover than Europe does, Smaller cars and RV'S are a needed for the narrow roads over seas. That is why we drive big trucks. And gas is more expensive than the States. I do ageee we are behind on RV's , most RV'S built in US are just for our throw away...

I Know the spare thing good also, had a flat due to a bad stem, spare tire was not same size, had to flat truck to tire shop. Wife goes is your spare tire same size ?? dam So , ordered spare rim , same as van and found same size tire. Then the fun began when I found out the spare does not come...

That's why you will need the same size spare tire when you have AWD, You will mess up the transfer case

And with everything that the Chinook has going for it you could not have fixed rust on both quarters ??, It should be fixable , and if you wanted it you could have talked them down on the price!!
