I would do the gears first then the tires later especially considering it's a daily driver. I've driven under-geared Jeeps before (basically all of college actually), and life is so much better when you're geared correctly.

You can't beat Gamiviti for the price, quality and customer service. The owner Tim is a truly stand up guy, and like you said he's local which is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend Gamiviti.

Totally agree. We have been looking at going back to a Toyota and have looked at new 4Runners, new Tacomas, or used 200s. I am not interested in a new 4Runner because I feel like a redesign is coming soon and any modern vehicle should have a 6 speed transmission at a minimum. I am not interested...
