Warn ProVantage 4500-s for Subaru Outback

Just be sure to keep in mind the capacities of the hitch and such. You wouldn't want to overload it as it might not be a satisfactory recovery point in terms of capacity. - Andy

    Alternate Winch Uses

A high amount of people use winches for tree removal. One of our employees used his Land Rover D90 and a quadruple line pull to remove a stubborn stump. https://youtu.be/qSl4FkUGh8I - Andy

Warn ProVantage 4500-s for Subaru Outback

The formula we use for winch capacity is Gross Vehicle Weight Rating x 1.5 = pulling capacity. Outback GVWR is 4,850, so capacity would be 7,275. That being said, you can use a snatch block to double the capacity. My real question, however, is how you'd mount it so that you don't rip it off...

    WARN Ascent Font Bumpers

I'm looking into this. I will say that if the bumper itself does fit, the Power Wagon's existing winch will not fit this bumper due to different bolt pattern and mounting configuration. - Andy

    WARN Ascent Font Bumpers

It's not a capacity thing, but rather the way the winch mounts. It'll take all of our mid-frame winches (e.g. winches that mount feet down). Our large-frame winches mount feet forward. For those, you'll need to look at our Heavy Duty Bumper lineup. With regards to the Hi-Lift question, no they...

The way we determine minimum winching capacity is to take: Gross Vehicle Weight Rating x 1.5 = Minimum Pulling Capacity My guess is a ZEON 12 will probably be enough. However, you can also e-mail our Customer Service at cs@warn.com and ask them directly. Andy

    Vehicle air conditioning really necessary?

My Suzuki doesn't have it. When my wife and I were coming back from the Overland Rallies and Workshops in Washington, it was 100 degrees going across central Washington/Oregon. She had also caught a summer cold. It was miserable, more for her than me, but it was still damn hot. If she hadn't had...
