Maybe this should be a new post? I am looking for an assist handle to get in the side door of a 2010 Chevy van. I assume it would be mounted on the post by the front passenger door. Any suggestions.
The starter replacement is easy compared to replacing cracked exhaust manifolds with new headers. Removing old exhaust studs is real work.
My son's 2001 is over 250,000 miles and running strong.
I have a 2011 Airstream Avenue. It is built on the Express body. There is a CR Lawrence window in that location, but it is smaller than the panel you want to remove. I would guess the window is half of the panel.
If you are on a budget I would not buy a Sprinter, too expensive to maintain and too few dealers. I went with a high roof Chevy but could have gone Ford, if I had found one. I think you will find a big difference between a 2007 and recent years. This is just my opinion, do what suits you.
I posted this in another thread, contact Pohl Springs, Spokane, Washington. https://pohlsprings.com/ They have been in the spring making business for over 100 years.
I would contact Pohl Spring in Spokane, Washington. They make custom springs for anything from bicycles to garbage trucks, all computer designed for your load. They have been in business forever. https://pohlsprings.com/
I think the tires are too small and too narrow. There are a lot of e-bikes with 20 x 4" wheels and tires. They will weight more. I have a RadMini folding bike. You can ride in on about any terrain. I can lift it into my Grand Cherokee.
I have the same rack and extender and tightener. I only haul one e-bike. I use it on my JK, Grand Cherokee, and Airstream motorhome with the spare tire on the back. I have never had any problems. The way it swings out, you can load bikes from both sides.
I have an express, it is way superior to any Mercedes van. Plus, I can get service any where in the US if needed. It will also tow more. The gas mileage is comparable to the underpowered diesel.
Good luck with the sale.
We just purchased this same vehicle and would like to see any updates, things we should look for etc. We have a solar panel on the roof but do not know if it is connected to the system. Any suggestions?
I have a Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel. The manual says to change the oil twice as often when using the 20% diesel. I used some when not paying attention and it clogged one of the exhaust sensors.
