It's my (limited) understanding that it's extremely hard to do, especially when it's coming from a private seller. I've heard of a couple people having luck at smaller credit unions/local banks. I've also known a couple people who used their home equity credit line. If you're able to get that in...
Cool rig! Bummer about the accident but glad it wasn't worse.
Just fyi if it's in there anywhere I can't find the milage of the Tundra. Adding it or making it more prominent would prob help.
Good luck selling!
Sorry to hear about your mother. Best of luck with it all. I moved back across the country to PA for 5 months to be the primary caretaker for my grandfather when his cancer put him in hospice. So I sort of get it. I was able to stay with my mother though and not have to buy/rent a place. And...
I'm only being slightly sarcastic but mostly just curious what would ever possess someone to live somewhere they weren't allowed to park in their god damn driveway? Proximity to job is about the only thing I can fathom. Shrug.
Anyway, free bump for a cool rig! Good luck selling!
I may have missed it but I'm guessing a few people will want to know the mileage.
Edit- found it in the pics. May still help to include it in the listing itself.
About as good a write up as you can hope to come across! Thanks for sharing.
I've done a lot of trips to the Moab/canyonlands area but still have yet to make it to the Maze district. This def bumped it far higher on my list.
I did look through the entire list and while there are some things where the cost is unknown it seems that, at best, you expect to get everything you have into this truck back at sale (pretty much never happens). At worst you're expecting to get some mark up for your time and effort (works even...
It's an interesting 80's market right now but I don't see that ever fetching above 10-12k. So many better options in that price range, imo.
Phil is far more knowledgeable then I am, however. So who knows.
Hmm. Well I suppose it depends how long a warm up really takes. The situation with the heater occurred in Moab around December 27th. It wasn't super high altitude (maybe 4k where we we're camping?). The temp at the time was prob between 25-35 degrees Fahrenheit. I'd let it run for prob 10-15...
The space heater runs fine on shore power.
I won't be home until tomorrow but I'll fire it back up and try some various devices and see what it can/can't run. I'd taken it on my last trip solely to power the heater and didn't bother trying it on anything else after it kept failing.
Thanks!
