MOIRAI 1995 4x4 Fire Rescue BUILD Thread

The front panel above the passenger and driver overhangs the old light bar area. What to do!! Solution $$. Thule Load bar, Thule 460 foot packs, Thule flat roof kit, Thule 52” wind fairing. To round it out. Ill see who wants to fab a connector from the load bar up to the front mounts of the...

MOIRAI 1995 4x4 Fire Rescue BUILD Thread

Ok. So here are four panels 4x160 watts trimmed with matte black 3M. Im sure people may chime in on reducing the efficiency of the panels because its “black”. But the top and bottom edges are still silver. Sooo. Honestly just something about the bare panels that makes me think of shoddy camper...

Ford E350 Super Duty Econoline Van 4x4 Ambulance - $49500 (Morgan Hill)

Awesome startup rig. Been for sale for quite some time. Was in the 80-90k range at the start if I remember. One thing is the two audio feed bars for the positive and negative terminals. My electrical guy steered me clear of those. Better to wire it properly with a bus bar designed to handle...

MOIRAI 1995 4x4 Fire Rescue BUILD Thread

Did you have any issues with the stainless steel heads on install? When I installed lets see, my drivers side door rain flange and a couple other items. I had to be ultra smooth. Since a few stripped so easily. I ended up using stainless steel machine screws, with an allen key drive. Love that...

Yeappers. NY and CA have reciprocity when it comes to taxes. Just like when I bought a rig at a dealer in Nevada. You dont get double taxed.

2007 CHEVROLET KODIAK C4500 awd w/manual locking hubs

I bought my 4x4 Ambulance three years ago to the day. At the same auction house and my rig is from the exact same fire dept. Running Springs. I got a steal. But it needed lots of work. Mine had 108K miles. But is an E350 4x4.

2007 CHEVROLET KODIAK C4500 awd w/manual locking hubs

Yes. Ive seen it before. Remove rear window of the cab. Weld in metal. Then cut a large oval. Use accordion material. Some use two layers to insulate it but who knows. Then remove same size hole in Box and remove fixtures mounted in the back. That would be fun!!
