    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

The thing is then I'll want 37s which means I'll want a regear because 6.2 with 3.73s. Oh and since I'm in there a front locker makes sense so $6000 later I have new wheels🤣

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

True but I'm passively shopping for a side truck. Because I really need two trucks to drop cash on🤣

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

I've been eyeing those wheels. The faux bead locks have always been horrible imo. Luckily I have ~15k left in my tires to decide if I want to drop the coin on wheels.

2016 F-250 Rear Springs- Deaver or Alcan?

I did get the u-bolt/plate kit for them. It's solid. It comes as raw steel so you want to coat it with something. I have the adjustable shocks. I think I slowed the high speed compression. I don't think I touched the low speed.

2016 F-250 Rear Springs- Deaver or Alcan?

I installed Alcans on my F250 in August. I have the 2.5 Fox's from Accutune and Carli coils. The leafs have been the biggest ride improvement. I had them built to get rid of the factory block and gain 1" of lift loaded. I've ran Alcans in the past and a lot of friends use them. All of us have...

    Hallmark bankruptcy dismissed!

Good for them. My understanding is if it's in the best interest of the creditor chapter 11 can be dismissed. Maybe Hallmark was able to pay them?

3500 RAM Prospector + Alu Cabin + Custom Bed

Full size spare is a requirement IMO. Weigh your truck and adjust the tire pressure to your load. If you run the factory 80 PSI in your rear tires it won't matter how much you spend on shocks. Carli and Thuren make good stuff. The key is having a good instal of all the necessary components...

    The Status of Overlanding Today

Probably more true for vehicle based recreation. I was including back packing and bike packing. I carry one when we are back packing in grizzly country. I don't know if I've ever carried one backpacking in Colorado, Utah, or Arizona. I don't know anyone that carries a gun bike packing. My...

    The Status of Overlanding Today

I bet you would be surprised by how many people who don't carry a gun outdoors.

    New bike

To get the GX cassette you need a hub with a XD drive. You may or may not be able to swap out the free hub body but you may need a new rear hub. You can use a GX rear derailleur and swap out the chainring even if you don't switch the cassette. If you are upgrading to a GX derailleur I would...

3500 RAM Prospector + Alu Cabin + Custom Bed

I built a homemade utility style bed to fit around our camper. The Bowen is awesome but it wasn't in the budget. Having the storage is a game changer. I have a dry place for tools, shoes, air compressor, trash, chairs, grill, dog food, outdoor toilet, and more. It really frees up a lot of...

Thoughts on the Truckhouse Tacoma expedition camper...

This 100%. Super single conversions seem so gimmicky when you consider the tire selection and wheel offset. I know it's silly but it always makes me uneasy seeing the rear brake rotor so exposed. I would be open to 4500/5500 if prior kept to dual rear wheels.

Talk me out of it: 6.0L Powerstroke?

I really like the 6.0 but you are hanging in the danger zone for reliability given their age and reputation. I figured it was with the loss of MPG to get a 6.2 or a 7.3 gas.

Turns out I need a real truck. Kindly help me choose one!

What's the reason for wanting clearance lights? Just curious.

    Help Finding F-150 HDPP

If 2k lbs does the job I would skip a F250.

    Help Finding F-150 HDPP

We like it. It's been solid and the power is sufficient. With the camper and our gear we are around 9700 lbs. It handles it like a champ even with 35s. Mpgs suck. Even stock getting over 15mpg was not common.

    Help Finding F-150 HDPP

You should have bought that truck. According to the Ford that doesn't exist. I looked into ordering a supercab F-150 and you couldn't get it with a GVWR higher than 7050lbs in 2020. That's why I ended up with a F250.

    Help Finding F-150 HDPP

I thought you wanted something newer. Was '07 the last year they offered it? That far back search based on 8200lbs GVWR and look for trucks with 7 lugs.

    Help Finding F-150 HDPP

Supercab short bed F250 is a few inches longer than the supercab short bed F150. F250 sorry bed is 6.75'. Turning radius is noticably larger but it's better than the 157" wheelbase required to get a HDPP F150. HDPP is only available in a supercab with the 8' bed or crew cab 6.5 bed.
