Recently picked up a Quigley 4x4 and although it has been maintained regularly (70K miles) I'm seeing something that could be amiss on the front diff knuckle joint - see photo - looks like the knuckle seal has eather popped out or has split in two? The diagram I have seen shows the...
So.... the torsion bar I just got is not going to "slide in"... gonna take some whacking. I will make a call to SwayAway before commencing with hammering... :-(
I was lucky and ended up not having to find a one for conversion... found a great setup... '09 panel van w/70K on it, XL interior V10, Quigley conversion and full camp interior, less the pop-top. If I had gone with a diesel I would only want the 7.3.... and those are hard to find and can have a...
Speaking of all this... on a FlipPack I just bought it came with NO torsion bar and NO hardware... is there a drawing somewhere of the bushings/parts I will need to come up with to finish this job?
Sounda like a trial fit and some slight filing/cleanup for sure on the old spline cut-outs in the hinges for sure... I just bought one and will to replace one here shortly... I will soon see it it "slides in" or not :Wow1:
The quality is a bit better with the flippac. They are going to be newer and not so old.
The flippac stays on the vehicles footprint if that matters. On the other hand the wildernest gives you an awning if your vehicle is high enough.
The flippac deploys in under 1 minute. Not sure about...
