I've seen some dolly devices that race car builders use to weld up a frame or roll cage. Think of a engine hoist on steroids.
They attach to front and back of the car and can allow a complete rotation of the vehicle.
I wonder if that would work for trailers? Attache to front and back...
I ran across a Hoffman enclosure on Craigslist last year for $100. As we use it, it's 48"w x 36"d x 13"h. Perfect fit behind my 3rd seat in my 1999 GMC Suburban (with the spare tire out).
It was a heavy ******** though so I skeletonized the bottom, sides and back (see pics).
Eventually the bottom...
From what I have learned in the past year (mostly on this site), get a 2004-2006 2500 with a lift gate (not a tail gate). Sadly the barn doors aren't available on those models.
Earlier years are good too but those 04-06 have a slightly refined comfort level than 03 and earlier.
Why does it say "* Note: Federal law prohibits the use of this container for the storage of fuel."
Is it because they aren't CA CARB complaint?

Look at Samyang (Rokinon) wide angles. They are manual focus but for landscape... it doesn't move anyway. MF lenses can work in your favor. Their 14mm is supposed to be very good. I also saw something not too long ago about a new line of Samyang lenses coming out soon. Just haven't...
Can anyone help ID and age this tent?
Full disclosure: I am not much of a tent historian.
That being said, this is a canvas tent with features not often found in modern tents.
e.g., clasps, hooks and clips.
It is an external frame as you can see. The tag says "Eureka Tent and Awning" (and...
A 20L scepter (jerry can) is $40-$70 (depending on source).
The MSR 4L $40, 6L $45, 10L $59 (at REI).
FrontRunner bladder is $77 (replacement liner $13).
I personally would probably lean towards a scepter style if they can be found at $40. Not too worried about the space they take up if your...
His mention of lateral forces and mount failures, was something that I rarely see/hear about. Probably because his depth of true expedition experience versus the highway cruisers we most often see.
I wasn't sure where to put it so I posted it in software and cross posting here.

I have a 99 GMC Suburban with OBD2 Fusion app.
It's not bad, but would like to hear from others with similar and completely...
