What is a Santana station wagon? It looks very much like a defender. I trust your expertise, but is a Santana valuable if it is that similar to a defender?
Not a problem! I haven't been on here in a long time and like you said, I was browsing with the new posts feature, and missed that we were in the van/camper forum. Have a good one :)
LOL, I appreciate both responses. I didn't realize this was a camper thread only (though I probably should have after reading more than a few pages). I picked up a Lexus rx400h. Planning to throw some all terrains on it at least an inch bigger than stock to get some traction, and a twin mattress...
I love that thing minus the tail lights. Don't take that as a negative, what I am trying to say is, I LOVE the rig, but I don't quite love the tails. :-D
Today I am replacing the track bar bushing on the body end. It is an aftermarket track bar and unfortunately removal of the track bar has been a huge pain in the ***. I ended up removing the track bar mount altogether, but even in a vice, the top nut does not want to break free. I ended up...
Oh you mean the size is commonly used. It just seems to be uncommon in kits now.... And when I checked, harbor freight, advance auto, and home depot did not carry them in my local stores. Thank God for sears, even though I never shop there.
It is made by detours USA. I forget the name of the model but I think they stopped making them. Their website has some pics I believe. I think maybe it was called the tail bone. I got it mainly for the tire carrier and receiver hitch.
the knockoff ARB deflator I got today worked great at the beach today! Took about a minute per tire. SUPER easy to use, and the gauge matches my other gauge, so I trust it. $26 well spent!
sorry! I am sure someone will chime in. Is this of any help? Not sure what engine differences there may be.

today, after realizing I had definitely lost the key to my wheel locks, gave a go at getting the locks off to replace. Better to do it when there is air in my tires than to scramble to do it when I have a flat. I took it to 4 shops first to see if they had any "master" keys that would work...
i ordered this and it arrives tomorrow. Will let you know how it is; looks like a ARB copy cat.

if that is the case, perhaps the valve works by sensing PSI (albeit in an unsophisticated way), and the smaller tanks lose more pressure per volume than a larger tank would. Speculation though.
