I'm working on the same setup you mentioned. The Tahoe seats MG posted above are about the only solution I have found that have headrests, integrated seat belts, etc. There is a guy on eBay who sell universal mounts for the Tahoe seats. I have his mounts welded to some bar stock that I need to...
My 5.4 with 33's and 3.73's would get about 10-11mpg, my 6.0 on 35's with 4.30's seems to get 15-17mpg. I'm much happier with the power and increased range of the diesel, but I have read so much bad stuff about the 6.0 that it's always in the back of my mind that there is going to be a problem...
I'm running Moog CC880S springs and Fox Shocks 980-24-677 with my 4x4 MG Coil Over kit.
I just had John at Agile Offroad re-valve the Fox shocks last Monday and I'm very impressed with the ride improvement (on the highway and in the dirt). I thought that the shocks were working pretty well...
I don't know where you are located, but if you are planning on being at the "Cars and Coffee" meetup this Sunday, I'm planning on being there with my MG 4X4 Coil Conversion. I haven't had the issues that Gregor is dealing with and have been pretty happy with the conversion so far. Hopefully...
I think there is some truth to the above statement, but I also think the 4WD allows you to take things slower and not have to rely on momentum as much. Having the option to go slower through tricky spots is also less taxing on the vehicle and passengers. A locker is definitely an improvement...
Sorry for the delayed response! If the seat is still available, can you send me a picture please? Thank you and no worries if it is already gone! scottgwilliams@gmail.com
After you have everything cleaned up, I would DEFINITELY have your alignment and drag link checked out. I was texting MG while my van was being aligned and though the as-is kit was going to be close to factory spec, my alignment guy "Dale" (who I have known for 25+ years and is well respected...
The last two links don't really add anything worth posting. One of the last two is the same as the 2nd photobucket link, he just had the flooring installed in the SMB pic. You should consider joining the SMB site as well, it seems to be more active than this site (at least for 4x4 vans).
I'm...
I'm planning on running Tahoe seats as well. If you haven't seen it, here is a description on how one person handled the seat mounting:

Here are some pics that might help as well...
Mr. Crow sells built up vans that look really nice, but the quality of work is pretty poor/scary. I haven't seen any of his vans in person, but there have been MANY pictures and stories on this site and the SMB site that show failed welds, etc. It appears that he uses home built mounts for the...
