IMHO where the RTT wins is in fast deploy and fast tear down. With the RTT you can have your head on a pillow in 2-3 minutes. This allows you to drive longer into the night by not having to allocate 45 minutes for camp set up and break down.
I am looking into getting the Yeti 400 to charge phones/tablets, run some LED ambiance lights, and also run a medium sized fan at night (fan about the size of a tabletop 12" fan). Unlikely I would ever get a fridge.
Is the Yeti 400 the way I want to go? or maybe even the 150?
Thoughts?
Gseim, what is completely going over your head is:
Its not so much people blindly supporting Tepui, it people strongly disliking your attempt to strong arm Tepui. You came in pounding your chest screaming "Don't you know who I am"? " I have XXXXX number of followers"!
You sit here and talk...
So, I just watched an off road journal video. In one (very)short clip it seemed like someone was deploying a RTT with the annex attached to it. I am new to the RTT game, and I never thought to try to pack the tent with the annex attached -without the floor, annex walls only-.
I am going to give...
Just watched the video. I enjoyed both, the scenery, and the narration.
Cheers.
Edited to add: I almost turned the video off after the "After the Rocky start to our day" pun. :P
