Echoing what the others have said, I've had a great experience with frontrunner racks and how modular they are. The gwagen accessories ladder is a good choice too as it does not require any drilling into the body or anything like that.

looks like a Preining rack, which Mk216v identified for me when I was lusting after the racks that are available on the W461 PUR as well as G550s provided to Mike Horn for his K2 adventure. I believe it's the "factory" rack.

lucky it was a simple fix. Two months into my G ownership my wiper assembly broke. Whole dash had to come out and needless to say it wasn't cheap...

That looks like a decent rack. I have a front runner low profile rack that I like and don't realy care that I can't tilt my sunroof due to clearance issues with the rack. I really the racks used for the K2 expedition.

What size tire did you mount and where is the rub? If you're using the new tires on your OEM setup, I doubt you need a 4" lift and depending on the size a lift might not solve your rub issues. I agree that a smaller lift would be better as a 4" lift typically brings a whole other set of...
