They make a ton of aftermarket accessories for the G. Check out ORC and you be shocked. Le Tech is excellent gear. The problem is gwagonparts.com gouges you on everything. They just drop ship orders from vendors and then add a huge markup.

My kids and wife really like it because they can reach 2-3 feet further back into the bed to grab stuff than when the tailgate is dropped in the normal position.

Went from a LC200 and G550 to truck. It's a very different experience, but the family is enjoying it so far!

I have BFG KO2 E rated on my 550 and it firmed it up a bit, but by no means degraded it. I also have Cooper AT3 XLT E rated on my Ram 1500 Diesel, and the ride only firmed up a bit, but handling improved.

That is a narrow wheel. I'm pretty sure that the rule of thumb is no more than 3-4 inches wider than the rim. That would limit you to 9.5-10 tops. I think that is around a 255 or 265 wide tire max.

Grabbed four take-offs for $500 and then had them powder coated titanium (basically the same as gunmetal). Really like how they turned out for sure. Just make sure they do not heat up your rims past 375 during the cure process or it may impact wheel integrity.

2500 is just too big for my taste. True the 2500 has more aftermarket support but hope that changes as more people pick the 1500 Diesel for Overlanding.
