The level of work it takes to put in those front spacers is the same as putting in new struts and springs from Old Man Emu. Their base kits is around 1K, so is Tough Dogs. Both very good options for that price and well worth it in regards to handling, clearance, etc...

Which FR roof rack are you using? I got the full length from FR's website, but yours seems one slat longer. I also have an Alu Cab awning. Would you mind taking a picture of how you mounted the front mount for the awning? The directions are not very clear. Many, many thanks.

Completely agree. Don't do anything that will put additional strain on that tire mount. Do the g-wagon accessories trunk.

Not even close to the same. I bought the blue ORC springs direct for $1000 including shipping. 4x4 Club wanted $1800. That a lot of money for processing a simple drop ship request.

I've had a Frontrunner Slimline II and a Baja Rack on my Landcruiser 200 series. Loved the Frontrunner, and hated the Baja Rack. I installed the K9 on my 2015 G550, and is the best rack of the three in regards to noise and build quality. It also accepts most Frontrunner accessories.

I have the 2015. It's the last year of the non turbo 2015... super glad I got one of the last ones. Huge changes in 2017. First time in 35 years they are changing the body, with a host of other changes...

Honestly, I would keep the LC200 and drop it off at Slee for the new OME bypass shocks, dual battery trays, sliders and a rear bumper with swing-outs (Slee is coming out with one soon vs. the ARB one). The 200 is a much better family hauler, has less drivers fatigue and is hell of a lot less...

It's weird, but the front end sits about 1/2 to 3/4 inch higher than my rears. I did take off my brush guard, but find it hard to believe that the weight of the brush guard would effect the height of the front end much. It's only been about 3 weeks, so maybe the front will settle a bit more...

To do any type of off roading you will need to immediately upgrade the suspension. I know that insurance companies do not like to warranty AMG engines after the MFG. warranty expires, which is a pretty big deal. Love the power of the AMG's, but feel the reliability of the NA is superior...
