No as there is not enough room because of the gear linkages and the pipes out of the intercooler won't go around the condenser. I need to replace it any way because it has a hole in it.
I could fit a smaller universal one in front of it (Candy's Canter has a small one fitted) but I wanted the...
Test fitted the manifold to the engine and mounted the turbo to look at what lines I need to get to run to the intercooler. The intercooler is a wrecker special from a later model 2WD. I've had to remove the aircon condenser from in front of the radiator to fit it in. That's going to be another...
No trouble putting a winch up there without a bullbar and yes front end weight is a problem for all Canters due mainly to front suspension which affects ride. I put my winch on the rear and cabled to the front and my weight is evenly balance front to back.
That's My View,

A little more done, have the manifold finished other than I need to have the mounting surface ground flat. I've ended up with a 1mm warp even though I had it clamped to a solid 25mm (1") steel plate. Was flat till I released it. I even polished the internals.

Okay I get what you are referring to. Maybe you need to try and lighten it or maybe chip it.
That is right we are a lot lighter and the turbo is going to help when we get it finished. We will be testing without turbo on mine to start.
There is a big jump in gearing between 2nd and 3rd, 3rd to...
I said it was being worked on and we are now in production of a new set of gears for the transfer case of our Canter. Hopefully the first ones will be ready by mid May and we will be fitting them to Candy's and My Canter for testing. We have another trip coming up which will be a good test for...
Not fair that it is not a real close up of actually fitting on the vehicle as in the first spy shot. Well you got me but I will say that they are a left and a right.
Dan.
Had a chance to do a bit more today. Welded some of the manifold and did a trial fit. I have decided that I'm going to under sling the turbo which gives me a lot of room for the exhaust out the back and the air line will run under the alternator to the inter cooler in front of the radiator. The...
Not a lot of progress as work seems to get in the way but still some goodies have arrived. EGT and Boost Gauge the same as I fitted to Candy's Canter and Air/Fuel Ratio Meter so I can follow what is going on.
