Belafonte Reboot....Ambulance to 4x4 Camper Conversion

This is my 2005 Wheeled Coach and I don't see anything including staples. There may be something under the padded areas, but I haven't removed any of them yet.

Belafonte Reboot....Ambulance to 4x4 Camper Conversion

Tom, I have a couple of questions about your Wheeled Coach Ambulance. 1. How is the wall panel behind the crew bench are held up? I don't see any fasteners on mine at all. 2. Did you have to remove the upper cabinets to remove the panel?

F150 FX4 Build, decked drawers, slide, and ARE topper / camper shell. Thinking about a roof tent.

Welcome to the forum! (y) I have pretty much the same setup as you do, except my truck is a 2004 F250 4x4 in all white. I also have the Decked Drawer System installed. And, I have Yakima Racks on an A.R.E. camper shell as well. The A.R.E. shells are extremely well made and solid as a...

Buying & Building a Medium Ambulance into an RV – The FAM-BULANCE

Bob, if you're wanting to install small profile recliners, maybe you should check out the Toyota Sienna seats. They are expensive but top of the line. See this thread here. I've thought about them for mine, but with my back problems, I really need a bed with a good mattress. But, on the...

My trailer build. something a little different.

The way people drive now days, you can never have too much when it comes to warning lights. Don't forget the required reflectors also. If your LED lights have the reflector part built into the lens, you can skip the separate reflectors. Best to check the SAE Lens Coding on the lights against...

My trailer build. something a little different.

OK, but why not just put the red ones in the rear where they belong, and move those amber ones to the front? No biggie, but I'm just curious. Just FYI... TRAILERS: FEDERAL LIGHTING EQUIPMENT LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

My trailer build. something a little different.

This definitely an interesting build and the craftsmanship looks superb, but I've got to ask... Why do you have the red side marker lights in the front and amber ones in the rear. That should be reversed, with the red in the rear and the amber in the front.

    My Perfect Ambulance Platform?

Pangle, this may be irrelevant now, but just FYI... The commercial cab/chassis frame that is used with the Type I ambulance bodies are 34" wide in the rear, and a standard pickup truck frame is 42" wide in the rear. The 34" on the cab/chassis is a standard, and is the same for Fords, Chevys...

    Point Five Ambo Build

Thanks Mike! Yeah, I feel kinda naked out there without a winch myself, and have always had one in the past. The winch I have now is only a 9,000 lb. version, but with a snatch block or two I can do quite a bit. My days of mud bogging, etc. are over with. I'm building this truck and trailer...
