Update 4 on the axle. Reassembly of axle before installing. Mostly done. Just need to prep and insert axle shafts. 10 min job. Except for test fit.... will install these shafts last cause will keep the shafts out so can roll the truck around in Front wheel drive. Our next task though will...
that may not be true if I understand right....... my understanding is the discharge is not linear. More % it is discharged.... the easier it discharges. Also different type batteries should not be discharged below a certain total % or you begin to damage the battery's life pretty quickly...
yeah old question but since this was resurrected thread...... the answer is...... THE INSURANCE COMPANY!!! It is NOT so much about legality as it is about who is liable / responsible. if your vehicle is in an accident and the person in that seat is injured.... your insurance will deny...
your camper will rattle like all get out if you do not line them with something..... an added expense. The affordable ones found used are usually extremely cheaply made. The expensive ones... IMHO sometimes not much better; just paying for a name ("snap on" comes to mind)

cost or regearing ranges greatly based on who does the installing of the gears. Cost of gears (which right now is actually whole center chunks with better ratio gears already in them) is just under 2 grand - 2.5 grand.. matters shipping. I suspect that price has skyrocketed though since it...
Devils advocate: therein lies the conflict of a circulating world.... we want quality. buy it once and be done as you say.. but in real world reality having it at some level of NOT quality is best for everyone as a whole. Replacing every couple years keeps the world employed (Innovating...
you can't walk around it and there is no table to speak of... more of a deck. It is enclosed on three sides... overall it's about size of a small car and ain't talking a Smart car
6-7 mpg is norm..... 8-10 with high speed gear* swap in axles (for me... in the works) theoretical 10-12 with taller tires (53") to bring the ratio closer to "optimum"
* high speed is oxymoron .. lowers engine rpms and gives you better cruise... yet not optimum for either...... but presently...
