You will find more Mog folk at benzworld.org/forums/unimog than here. Most here are members there too... but you will find even more there cause that discussion board includes those whose mog interest does not include camping. Anyway you will get lot more answers to your questions on this...
thanks for reading first half of thread. The concept evolved / Morphed into using an Ambulance box. Nice and strong which helps protect the cab occupents in a roll over as well. Will sit tad lower than cargo cover I hope though my head will be millimeters from ceiling. (Im 5'8" and...
saw an ambo or van conversion where the bed was hung on big manila rope. You just moved the knot to adjust bed level. Could see this done with cinch straps or ratchet straps too though .
nice stuff... but all the randomness of your instagram page makes it hard to follow your build. .also fold out bed has nothing to do with this thread which is aimed at having a quick way to level the bed

Think NOT outside the box...... but INSIDE the box.
Other Words.... why go with a dual cab; when the safest place for anyone to ride is in the ambo box itself. They are significantly safer in the box than in the cab. Ambo boxes are about the only thing this would be true..... but since it is...
