Timbren 3500HD- If you buy Dexter Brake Hubs with your Timbrens they will not carry a warranty!!

Great question for Dexter. Although etrailer is a reseller, Dexter may not have full influence on how they advertise products.

    Production numbers

small bird told me they were targeting 50k annual with 30% of them BEV by MY2025. That is a big number considering the "original" Defender sold the most in 1997 at 39K units. Last few years of production they were sub 10K units annual.

Thought I heard that Magna is building them. Lots cheaper to hire a factory than build a factory.

    Grenadier Pricing Announced

How do you all feel about annual production volume? The "original" Defender peaked in 1997 with 39k units. Do you think Ineos will sell more? or less? IIRC in 2025MY they are thinking 30% will be BEV.

    Grenadier Pricing Announced

Repairs will be at crazy prices for the first few years. See that Rivian with the minor fender-bender that has spread across the internet at $30k repair bill. My BIL experienced something similar on his new Volvo a few years ago - first release year for the model, bumped a curb, broke a wheel...

    Heat Recovery Ventilators

This is nothing new in the residential /light commercial market. I worked as an Engineer for an HRV / ERV manufacture in the mid 1980's. Here is some relevant information: https://www.ndsu.edu/agriculture/extension/publications/air-air-heat-exchangers-healthier-energy-efficient-homes

    Edgestar FP630 Hinge

Screws thread into a nutsert type thing. I think it would be pretty easy going generic and drilling the replacement hinge to the factory bolt pattern. But glad I picked up a set of stainless from Ambient several years ago after the OE hinges cracked.

    Edgestar/Whynter fridge tie down brackets

Many years ago someone on here offered up similar as these. I bought a pair and they work fantastic. My Edgestar is still running fine too 10 years after I bought it used. It has been powered almost continuously either in the back of a vehicle or in my basement since I bought it.

I used my "old" Necchi 535FA, not as old as yours, to hammer through several layers of 3 layer Gore-tex for a tent I made a couple years ago. Handled it like a champ.

Are older Land Rover Discoveries really that bad? How do they compare to contemporary Toyotas?

$3K in 2019 is equal to $10K in the 2023 used car market. It is just crazy.

    New Power System Opinions

I thought the Jackery 1000 did use an anderson for Solar input? Or maybe just the new one? I built my own for much less cost, but it did cost me time to engineer and build it.

    New Power System Opinions

Remember you need good sun for solar output. Figure 6 hours a day best case. You can add 8 to10 amps back into the battery per hour in great sun. Key West, not Alaska. Refrigerator will use 20 to 30 amps daily. An Odyssey holds 105 but only 1/2 really so 50 amps useable.
