adding $200+ for a sim slot (cellular capable) is a total rip off. That being said, I do have a tablet with wifi and cellular. I love the cellular option and use a Google fi data only sim in it. Pay as you use it, $10/gig. It was around $130 total for the tablet.
I wouldn't mind having an electric moto, something like and enduro or whatever they are called in modern lingo. No need for pedals, I have bikes for that.
We do not use any handhelds. Our microphones are from G.R.A.S. and Bruel & Kjaer, the DAC is a B&K unit and post processing software is also B&K. I'd say that the smart phone app would be on the "bad" scale. Our setup is relatively low end and cost roughly $25k. The stuff we test is in the...
sure limits the market. Some people have cash to spare, fewer have that "interesting" trade that they want to get rid of. How about taking an '83 Mighty Max even steven...
No I cannot, the equipment I have access to for measuring sound is lab use only and owned by my employer. I hate to call you out, but your data is not accurate at all. If you are claiming 20dBA running - ha you are joking. Some of the "quietest" Anechoic chambers in the USA have around a...
I have an Edgestar 45 and have slept next to it many nights. Its quiet.
BTW @ Klingquist - you have a really quiet garage! I do a lot of sound measurement for work and finding an area outside of a "special room" less than 40 dBA is challenging.
I have one of these: Progressive Dynamics PD9130V Inteli-Power 9100 Series Converter/Charger. Various sources to buy them, in my effort to not pimp any particular seller you should be able to google it and find your best price option.
Yep, FB sux, info is very difficult to search for. Nothing beats the forums like ExPo and 4x4wire for info retention and searchability. You should be able to get one landed and customs paid at your house in the USA for around $4500.
I get that, reality is that even in 70 mph posted states, 80mph + is the norm for interstate highway cruising. Just returned from a 1,100 mile north south trip to/from Florida in the 70mph zone of states, my cruise control was set at +10 and I was in the slow lane.
Explain highway capable, a lot of the USA is 80mph now, is 80 mph + an achievable cruising speed?

I have the Harbor Freight manual Riv-Nut setter - its has become basically junk after only a few uses (less than 25). Looks like the Marson is $29 delivered (Amazon) - I'm buying one!
