It's wild how little attention to detail and execution they put into the underside of this trailer. Glad to see you making the much needed improvements to their lackluster fit and finish.
I threw the new charger on the battery, turned it up to 15amps and it only took 8 minutes for the battery to fully charge the last 2%/7Ah and balance all four cells. I'll stick to the plan of throwing the battery on this charger each time I put it back in storage post trips.
It took numerous attempts at different adapters to find the correct one for this awkward combination of metric and standard threads in order to fit this silly little pivoting head, adjustable aerator to the kitchen sink. In the end the adaptor cost me more than double what I paid for the aerator...
Well, seeing how it has no nails, staples, or major screws (aside from a few small decorative strips, nothing structural) they hold up worlds better than the majority of your traditional campers and even some of your off-road oriented trailers as there's no structural wood or panels to rattle...
Yea I couldn't find a switch and the literature claims it does all of it automatically. I plan to call the manufacturer WFCO tomorrow and see what they have to say.
The converter claims it's capable of a lithium charging profile all the way up to 14.6v so in theory it should be able to do it. I think my issue is that I am charging via the available 15amp outlet in my unit instead of the full 30amp as it's designed for. If I had a 30amp hookup nearby I could...
Well that's just it, I think it's the voltage profile on this new tech, as @Kingsize24 put it, it's a new high performance battery and the converter and chargers I have just aren't capable of that profile. I am going to look for a dip switch on the converter, it's probably over 100 degrees in...
My converter is lithium capable, it says it right on the front and in the paperwork. Solar controller is good to go as well. This is more about the voltage profile and the battery being a lot newer tech and capable of a much higher voltage rate than what the chargers are setup for before they go...
I tried initially charging the new lithium battery through the campers converter and on board charger but the voltage profile is beyond what the converter is willing to put out. It took the battery from the 48% it shipped at up to 97%/292Ah but it wants to go into float at 13.45v where the new...
Well the Epoch 300Ah Lithium battery fit in the Casita battery compartment like a glove. I trimmed the packing foam it came in and she sits in there snug as a bug in rug. I'll be sure to place some additional foam on the top to help keep it in place when I head back this evening to check on it's...
Following along here and over on the Tremor forum. This will be an amazing build, no doubt, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that I wasn't just a little sad that this isn't a diesel haha. I understand the reasoning behind going with a gasser and I agree with that move for your use. Looking...
I clicked over 20K miles on the truck this week. I have been running my trip odometer 1 since Day 1 and the combined city and highway fuel economy over those 12 months/20K miles is 17.101 mpg. I have seen as low as 13.2 mpg when towing, usually 15-17 mpg in town and as high as 24 mpg when...
He said safely 350lbs but beyond that he starts to worry about rating it more so for the frame integrity of the camper than the hitch itself. I'd think you'd find your limiting factor to be how much weight can hang out back and the induced trailer sway more so than the capabilities of the hitch...
