I have had the Toyo Open Country ATs for about a year and have been very pleased with them.
You'll notice a smooth quiet ride even with the MTs and most likely never have any balancing issues because of the way the Toyos are constructed with a multi-chambered mold.
Come to think of it I have...
Thanks!
I'm also installing a set of Hepco & Becker engine guards / crash bars that I sourced through Chris at Eurotech Motor Sports.
I'll cover the installation of those as well.

Thanks Chris,
I think that it was a bit before its time, the US market was not very excited about the Enduro styling of this bike back in the late 80s so it never took hold.

I have been running the Dunlop D606 front and rear tires for the last couple months and about 3,000 miles. They have proven very comfortable on the street and highway up to 90mph or so however I believe they are speed rated up to 80mph only.... I try to not go past 75 on the hwy.

Wanting to develop the bike into a functional platform for extended travel I began to search for luggage...

I would recommend calling Champion and asking them what they which plug is correct. You could also get the number off one of your existing plugs, tell them what it is and ask what the equivelent is.

What springs are you running in the back?
How are they handling your new rear bumper, both empty and loaded with cargo in the back and two full jerry cans on the swing out, ?
For spark plugs just use the Champion stock spec plugs. Not worth messing about with any aftermarket wizbang plugs.
I have a thread about it here somewhere and I list the Champion plug number.
You can go the dealer and get the plugs for $12 each or go to NAPA and get the same plug for $3 each...
Mike,
1 - If you are putting the spare tire on the roof -- How will you get to it? How will you deploy the tent? How tall will that make the rig?
2 - Considering you are removing the spare tire carrier contraption -- There is nice open space on the shell on either side of the rear window. The...
